You will have to buy a license for amount of 5 % of the value and a government transfer tax of 2,5 %. The property tax is low and based on rental value. If you rent your place out, the withholding tax is 25 % of the net rental income. The Real Estate agencies take a commission between 5 and 7 % in exchange for their professional services. These agencies can also find time share objects or villas and condos for rent during your stay, if you prefer privacy to a stay at a hotel.
