If you are in Marigot in French St. Martin at breakfast, lunch or dinner time, the perfect place for sampling gastronomy in authentic surroundings is simply Le Lunch.

Located in a lovely inside patio on the Rue Général de Gaulle, this restaurant allows you to enjoy a very representative French gastronomy with a delicate island touch, as well as a great choice of Sushi.  Far away from being an expensive tourist place, Le Lunch is highly frequented by island residents and business people of Marigot.

The cheerfully decorated restaurant is surrounded by tropical plants and ventilators everywhere are welcoming refreshment from the heat outside. You can enjoy your aperitif on your table or on the bar, while choosing from the extensive menu on the chalk board.

Chef David has worked during 15 years in St. Martin and opened Le Lunch a year ago, after being chef in prestigious restaurants like “Le Chanteclerc” with Cecile, “Kontiki”, Astrolab” in St. Martin and the world famous “CuisineArt Resort” in Anguilla.

Le Lunch offers a continuously changing variety of dishes for noon and evening, as well as a lunch menu for 15 Euros and a dinner menu at 30 Euros. The portions are amazingly generous and more than worth the price!

Chef David calls his style “cuisine éclatée”, referring to his talent for transforming humble ingredients into a gastronomic delight. He specializes in raw fish dishes, like the trilogy of tartars, combining Mediterranean and Sushi-style in light and healthy starters, as well as delicious fish carpaccios. Tropical fruits, coconut and vegetables abound on the salad menu, mostly served with fresh home baked bread.

Sushi and Sashimi, Maki and Nigri in all possible variations, up to 60 pieces for groups are another specialty of Le Lunch. All Sushi dishes are served with wakame, ginger, soy sauce, wasabee and alfalfa.

Of course, you will find a very representative choice of traditional French cuisine from different French regions on the menu: Mouthwatering veal and beef T-bone steaks, lamb and delicious fish dishes are served with sauces at your choice. And the house has a nice selection of wines perfect for every dish.
As for the desserts, they are virtually irresistible!
