 Antigua is known for having some of the most luxurious hotels in the world. Royalties and heads of States often chose our shores for a secluded and intimate escape: Princess Diana used to spend her vacations at the K Club on Barbuda's spectacular beach. Antigua has a large array of villas and condos for rent; they offer all modern conveniences like fully equipped kitchens, TV and a full array of commodities you cannot expect to find in a hotel room. Usually, maid service is included or will be arranged for you. A great address for renting a condo is M, Marina Bay near Corbison Point at the south end of Dickenson Bay.  Condos are often sold as time-share units. A good idea if you cannot live anymore without a yearly visit to our island! You will find the largest choice of hotels, condos and villas on and around Dickenson and Runaway Bay on the North West coast of Antigua. In these fascinating surroundings, you will never be far from a sparkling white beach. Several more hotels, villas and condos concentrate around the romantic and historic settings of English Harbour. If you are a fan of history, you can even get a room in Nelson's Dockyard, between the walls that once where home to the admiral's officers and crew. Several hotel rooms, villas and apartments can be rented on the surrounding hills, offering breathtaking views over the harbour. There is no lack of entertainment, restaurants and bars for those who chose to stay in this part of the island. While many of our hotels are located in those most frequented places, you will have no problems in finding a place far away from the mainstream.
